Dug North
Dug is an automata artist and repairs antique clocks.  His work is great but what is of greater value is his blog.  Take time to read through his archives, amazing.

Keith Newstead
Keith is an artist out of Great Britain.  He has been doing this a while and does fantastic work.

Rob Ives
Rob is a paper artist and has a great site that is very informative.  The first automata I made were paper  automata from Rob and Keith Newstead.

Karen Barkie
Not sure of her origins.  I can't find a website but she does have a YouTube channel.  Nice work, very well thought out designs.

Robert Louma
Robert is from Central or South America.  I can't locate a website for him but he does have an exstensive YouTube channel with automata, ramp walkers and other interesting things.

Al Conquergood
Al is out of Ontario Canada.  He knows his mechanics and draws his designs up in CAD.  Great workmanship.

Tom Haney
Tom's work is unique.  He tells a story with his work with minimal movement.  He hides the workings inside the body of the sculpture.  A more serious tone.

Kazuaki Harada
Kazuaki is a Japanese automata artist.  The Japanese have a very long history with automata.  He has created a huge body of work.  If you have a hard time with his website, you can find his YouTube channel here.

Tom Borromeo
Tom is a Californian artist. Tom's work is both thought provoking and hysterical.  He makes excellent videos of his work too.

Giuseppe Civitarese
Giuseppe goes by the name Pino and is another paper artist and has some great automata that he makes available for free.

Rob Ives
Rob is a paper artist and has an enormouse site with lots of projects to download and make. Lots of different automata as well as mechanical stuff and other interesting things. He is out of Great Britain.
